Millom RUFC is holding their annual beer festival and rugby 7’s for the 3rd consecutive year on the weekend of June 17th - 19th. There will be twenty traditional ales available on the festival bar along with two ciders, two Perry's and fruit beer available on the main bar.
As usual there will be food available all weekend with all proceeds going to the junior rugby.
Entertainment over the weekend will be provided by local band The Hairy Buskers on the Friday night, the Hairy Buskers play foot stomping sing-a-longs songs for all to enjoy and get involved.
Saturday morning we will be showing international rugby matches New Zealand v Wales (8:15 KO) and Australia v England (11:00 KO) prior to the social 7's kick off around 12:30pm with both men's and women's teams competing. The teams are travelling from far and wide, from Scotland in the north down to Northwich in Cheshire.
After the rugby has concluded we will be entertained by feel good band ReVamp from the Kendal / Lancaster area who play a wide range of music from pop to rock and everything in between. We will end the evening with Monica's disco.
To wrap the rugby festival up on the Sunday our Millom RUFC Girls under 15's will take on Cumbria under 15 girls KO 12:30pm. Come along and give them your support.
This festival has grown over the last two years of being run and we see this year's event as being even more popular.
We at Millom RUFC would like to see you all at Wilson Park Haverigg to enjoy the weekend along with us all.
