England Rugby conducting a short survey
There's been a lot of speculation, in our County and across rugby, about a return to sport following the Prime Minister's announcements on Sunday evening and I though it would be helpful to outline our position.
England Rugby want to be prepared to get rugby back up and running when government guidance allows, and it is safe to do so. A great deal of work has been undertaken in recent weeks to establish protocols around a safe return to training and ultimately competition.
In the communication to clubs, they have highlighted the preparations taking place to reboot rugby when the time is right. All of the plans being developed are linked to the government’s social distancing guidelines and they've issued a statement today about the very latest position.
As part of the preparations, England Rugby are conducting a short survey across the rugby community and they would appreciate the views of everyone in the Yorkshire rugby community to help shape and guide our plans. They want to ensure that the plans align with the sentiment in the rugby community and that rugby restarts at a time when there is a will and desire to have it played again.
This survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete and your thoughts will be invaluable to everyone in the rugby community over the coming weeks. Please share with your members too. Here's the link
Thank you for the way in which you are continuing to support rugby and your communities.
