Yorkshire Terriers 7s team
The name 'Yorkshire Terriers' has been associated with Yorkshire Rugby for over 20 years in the XV aside game.
This famous brand for developing young rugby men is now entering the world of 7s, starting with 3 tournaments in the North of England during the summer
A squad of talented and specialised 7-a-side players will play at Bramhope, Ilkley and Macclesfield, under the Terriers name, continuing its legacy, respected around the world.
Several ex-tourists have jumped at the chance of playing for the Terriers once again, including Kris Sharples, who toured three times.
Ex-terrier Jay Robinson and James Cunliffe will prepare and coach the team, whilst behind the scenes, Andy Rickard is the Team Manager, ably assisted by Allan Secker (Terriers Liaison), Dave Francis (Coaching), and Dave Duxbury (Player Development)
This is an exciting time raising the Terriers from the ashes, and taking on the best 7 aside teams in the North of England
