The Yorkshire Rugby Trailblazer Trophy for Diversity and Inclusion
Yorkshire Rugby is launching two awards to celebrate both the teams and the people who are leading the way for diversity and inclusion within rugby.
It is looking for nominations for both individuals who stand out, and also clubs and teams.
In a nutshell, diversity and inclusion is about empowering people by respecting and appreciating what makes them different, in terms of gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexuality and more.
Maybe you have someone who has started a new disability or mixed ability league. Perhaps there is a club that is going above and beyond to grow the women’s game.
You might know of someone who is going into the community and reaching out to people who traditionally might not be involved with rugby. We want to hear from you!
To nominate a club, team or person please visit: https://forms.gle/sB9Kz78t6VWhf8s1A and submit a short nomination form.
This award is open to any person, team or club volunteering, playing or working within rugby in Yorkshire.
Deadline for nominations is the 30th of June 2024.
