The second North U18 trial at Lymm saw Yorkshire U18 squad record an emphatic win over Cheshire U18s
Despite a delayed Motorway journey over the tops Yorkshire were fast out of the blocks recording 33 unanswered points by half time !
A much improved all-round performance in front of the selectors saw tries from half backs Harvey Ward & Harrison Allan-Evan ,full back Harley Saunders & winger Adam Quinn
Two forwards tries by debutant Robben Bramhall & Jack Mcgowan with 4 conversions completed the half time rout
Cheshire in fairness did regroup in the second half and rally with three late tries but only after Harley Saunders second try out wide in the corner
Game in the bag and some knocks meant a few changes and the Coaches could rotate and rest players sensibly in control
The visitors maybe took their feet off the gas - nevertheless a great second County win this time on the road
The team are gelling nicely for the Roses clash at Doncaster on 5th Jan after a well earnt break and recuperation over Christmas !!
