We thank all the clubs who are currently reviewing their DBS Certificates and updating GMS as appropriate. We have received a number of emails from the RFU DBS team who have asked us to remind clubs and applicants of the below:
Within RFU Regulation 21 - https://www.englandrugby.com/dxdam/98/983525f2-c5ca-47c3-b9cb-8748a5b7493d/Regulation%2021.pdf - (specifically Regulation 21.2.3) it is stipulated that “Prior to any DBS application, a person must complete the RFU’s online safeguarding awareness training.”
Please ensure you have completed the e-learning prior to application, or you may have it returned and be unable to coach until completed.
