With the tour season fast approaching, we are looking to ensure that clubs have as much support and guidance to ensure that tours for children and those attending are run safely with proper consideration of the risks.
We are running a webinar ‘PLANNING AND RUNNING SAFE TOURS FOR CHILDREN’, which will be run by our Safeguarding Team to provide guidance around main areas of tours where problems arise so you can mitigate against these.
The webinar will be held virtually on Thursday 7th March at 19.00-19.45. To attend, you must register via this link: https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/f47e2cdd-166d-4caf-9567-3754354471af@7106c814-a52c-48a0-bde7-da36d4311b55
Attendees can submit questions to be covered in the webinar (no later than the 5th March please) during the booking process through the aforementioned link. Please note that cameras and microphones will be automatically switched off, but attendees may ask additional questions in the chat, which will be answered in a ‘Tours FAQ’ and communicated later. To try and ensure that we answer your question on the evening, we would encourage you ask it in advance when booking.
For those unable to attend, the webinar will be recorded and available for you to watch later.
We look forward to your attendance and hope this will help contribute to making your tours as safe as possible.
Best wishes
