Please find below the Yorkshire U18s nomination link for you to nominate players for the Yorkshire Boys U18s 2025/26 County Program. The pathway to North of England U18s
Programmed Structure:
The program consists of an Assessment Day on 26th Oct, a Development Day on 2nd Nov (both at Keighley RUFC 2pm – 5pm with a pre meet/registration at 1.30pm (NB nominees will need both grass & AWG boots), then three matches, with a training session before each fixture, details below:
23rd Nov vs Northumberland(A) in Cheshire Festival Format
7th Dec vs Cheshire (H) – Keighley RUFC 2pm ko
21st Dec vs Cumbria(A) – Penrith 2pm ko
With Squad Training 7pm – 9pm
Yarnbury RUFC 14th & 21st Nov 5th12th & 19th Dec
Selection for Assessment and the Squad:
Club and School coaches are requested to only nominate players they feel are of a relevant standard to attend the Assessment Day for County Squad selection via the link below. Please ensure any nominations are of appropriate ability to avoid previous issues where a vast number of boys nominated creating an Assessment Day with approximately one hundred boys.
Those players who featured for the U17s Player Development Programmed last season to expand player development opportunities for this age group will be invited via last Seasons U17s management.
This upcoming assessment invitation is intended for those in addition who were not part of this program, so please bear this in mind when nominating.
