Yorkshire U18 Girls put in a determined and physical performance to claim a 31–24 victory over Leicestershire at Sandal RUFC.
After an early Leicestershire score, Yorkshire settled quickly, building pressure through strong carries, sharp support play, and disciplined defence. Yorkshire’s momentum grew as they moved into a convincing lead, showcasing excellent teamwork and control.
Leicestershire fought back to close the gap to just two points, setting up a tense finish. Yorkshire held their nerve, responding with a final try and closing out the match with outstanding resilience to secure a deserved win.
