As you may already be aware the RFU made some changes to Regulation 15.6 which now supports a 17 year old playing adult rugby.
This came into effect on the 1st August 2019 and it's important that you have all the correct information of this.
Here you'll be able to download key information including forms along with finding out who to contact in Yorkshire for approval.
The attachments are:
- Club Guide
- Regulation 15.6 - Playing Adult Rugby
- Playing Adult Rugby Club Approval Form - This is document which clubs must complete and submit to Yorkshire RFU for approval each season before the beginning of the season if you are already aware of a 17- year old wishing to play adult rugby.
- Playing Adult Rugby Player Approval Form – These are the documents that approved clubs will need to complete for any 17 year old they wish to play adult rugby. This form will need to be sent to and approved by Yorkshire RFU.
All completed forms are sent directly by the RFU to our Yorkshire Rugby Development Chair, Tim Wicks, at Rugbydevelopmentchair@yorkshirerfu.co.uk
Once Tim has received the Club and Player Approval forms an email confirmation will be sent and everything will be considered within 5 working days.
