Regional Conferences: Help Shape Yorkshire RFU’s Future Strategy

Yorkshire RFU is developing its strategy for the seasons ahead — and we need to hear directly from the people involved in the game.

To support open, local conversations, we’re holding a series of Regional Conferences — one in each district. Your insight will help us understand what clubs and players want and need, and what support will make the biggest difference as we advance.
Who should attend?

We strongly encourage attendance from:

• Director of Rugby (DoR)
• 1st XV captains
• Lower IV team captains
• A Club-nominated representative

Your voice matters. These sessions are a key part of shaping a strategy that reflects the needs of the community game across Yorkshire.

• Share what’s working well — and what isn’t
• Help identify priorities for Yorkshire rugby at club and player level
• Influence the support, development, and direction of the game in your district

Regional Conferences

The forums will be held as follows:

• 10th February 2026 – Northallerton RUFC
• 11th February 2026 – Driffield RUFC
• 25th February 2026 – Doncaster RUFC
• 2nd March 2026 – Old Brods RUFC
• 4th March 2026 – Pontefract.

All conferences are 6.30pm arrival for a 7pm start. Refreshments provided.
