I wish to advise that with the end of the playing season will not be accepting any new requests for dispensations, playing adult rugby until 1st July 2025. The first stage in these applications being considered for approval is the submission and subsequent approval of the ‘Club Approval Form’ only once club approval has been issued can individual player forms be considered.

Club Dispensation will require
Active Club Safeguarding officer, with a Current DBS, a Recent In Touch Course and Current Play it Safe course (Or booked onto one)
All Coaches to have a current DBS and a Current Play it Safe (Including those with U17’s playing senior rugby)
All Coaches attached to a team on GMS.
All teams to be listed on GMS.
Electronic applications only
Completed the annual Safeguarding Self Audit GMS.

Adult Dispensation requires
Full assessment by Level 2 or equivalent
Complete RFU ID details
Club Dispensation
Appropriate Coaches/Management with DBS and Play it Safe

REMINDER – CLUB AND PLAYER APPROVAL ARE FOR ONE SEASON ONLY THEREFORE ALL APPROVALS FOR THE 2024/25 SEASON ARE NOW NULL AND VOID AND MUST BE RE-APPLIED FOR, FOR THE 2025/26 SEASON.
