VALUE THE VOLUNTEER
Peter Morgan Old Rishworthian RUFC and Yorkshire RFU was presented with a Value the Volunteer award at the Allianz Stadium Twickenham on 7th February, by Stephen Pearson, Junior Vice President of the RFU.
Peter was selected by Yorkshire Constituent Body to receive one of the RFU President’s Value the Volunteer Outstanding Contribution Awards. This is the major accolade of the Volunteer Recognition programme, and recognises the impact that he has had, not only on his club, but also the wider rugby community. Since joining Old Rishworthian RUFC in 1972
Peter has been a pillar of the club, first as a player, then dedicating five decades to its smooth running. From serving as club secretary for 13 years to his current role as fixtures secretary, he's also taken on countless behind-the-scenes tasks. His commitment extends beyond the club, taking on roles within Yorkshire CB as Chairman of Competitions.
