Have your say
Please find below reminder for the Yorkshire Engagement Session on 19th January 2026 at Wetherby RUFC 2-8pm.
If you haven’t already registered please do or send someone from your club we would be delighted to see you there.
As well as the RFU local and National staff will be a number of Yorkshire Committee members – namely the Chair, Hon Sec, Club Dev Chair, Volunteer Co-ordinator, I & D Lead, Rugby Safe Lead amongst others.
As much as we like talking to each other we would much rather be talking to you so please try to attend for some part of the session.
As part of the member pledges the RFU made earlier this year, they committed to enhancing engagement opportunities with our member clubs. Whether at these sessions or in the future, we want to hear from as many people as possible from across the game about what you're interested in and how your lived experience of rugby can help shape the future of our game.
January's Local Engagement Sessions are focused on connecting clubs with RFU staff working both regionally and nationally. They will focus on practical support around current, topical issues. Events will run from 2pm to 8pm, with timed slots being made available for clubs to meet relevant staff members in a clinic style approach. Further information on timings and slots will be shared ahead of each event. This series of local engagement sessions focuses on practical support for rugby clubs. When you register, please indicate which topics you’re most interested in so we can ensure the right expertise is available for each session. (Please note: If you cannot attend any of the local engagement sessions, please still complete the expression of interest form so we can hear your views in the near future).
