Yorkshire Senior Women’s Squad Announced for 2025/26 Gill Burns County Championship Campaign
Yorkshire RFU is proud to announce the Senior Women’s squad selected to compete in the 2025/26 County Championship.

The squad brings together a diverse and talented group of players representing clubs from across the county, highlighting the strength, depth, and continued growth of the women’s game in Yorkshire. Clubs represented include

• Barnsley
• West Park Leeds
• Driffield
• Sandal
• Sheffield
• Sheffield Tigers
• Hull Ionians
• Harrogate
• Halifax
• Wensleydale
• York
• Skipton

as well as

• Lichfield
• Sale FC
• Thurrock.

Yorkshire enter this season as four-time County Champions and will be aiming to secure a fifth title. Success this year would also mark a third consecutive championship victory, underlining the consistency and high performance standards established within the programme.
The campaign begins with two key fixtures in May:

Yorkshire will host Lancashire ?Hull Ionians
?16th May
? 1:00pm kick-off

before travelling to face Northumberland

?Whitley Bay Rockcliffe RFC ? 24th May
? Kicking off at 2:30pm.
