Yorkshire County Teams Victories Make History
Not sure if you heard the news about the Yorkshire RFU County Women’s and Men’s teams at the weekend?
Both played Lancashire on 1st June 2024 at Hull Ionians, in front of over 800 supporters from across the County in their last Pool fixtures. Did you see the coverage on social media.
And best news from the day is they both won their respective games!!
The Women ran out winners with a score of 30 to 19 after an action packed game, and the Men finished the afternoon off with a 26 points to 13 victory over the Red Rose County.
This makes a historic first for the County in that both the Women and Men go to their County Championship finals at Twickenham on the same day.
The date for your diary is 15th June 2024 at the home of England Rugby.
And the good news is that it’s a FREE entry event all day at Twickenham.
It should be a great day out for the county with the Women facing Surrey in the Gill Burns County Championship Final at 5pm. Preceding them, the Men are facing Kent in the Bill Beaumont County Championship at 3pm.
More information on the day, entrance, parking, etc can be found at englandrugby.com
Lets get the support out and fingers crossed for another double victory for the County.
Remember is FREE to get in!
