The Yorkshire RFU is seeking a new Chair of County Coach Development
CHAIR of COUNTY COACH DEVELOPMENT
- Plan and implement Coach Development within the CB, by promoting Long Term Development Plan and the Player Pathway
- Identify Coach Development needs and promote appropriate CPD courses
- Liaise with the Academy and the RFU to identify Coach Development needs and short comings
- To be responsible for Coach Development at all levels, including Yorkshire County Teams
- Promote the involvement of coaches in the RFU Coach Licensing Scheme, and together with the RFU, provide courses across the CB, as required by regulations and the Future of Yorkshire Document
- Liaise with CB Districts to identify Club Coach Coordinators at Clubs
- Assist the Chair of County Teams in appointing coaches to represent ALL County Teams
- Liaise with Coaching personnel at CB, Academy, DPP, Girls C of E and DPP, Regional and National levels
ADMIN
- Produce a Coaching Budget, to present to the CB Committee, Account for All spending
- Organise / Advertise information to be exhibited on social media
- Prepare reports and attend four RD/PD Rugby meetings annually
- Observe Coaches at CB Training and Matches
- Act as a resource for queries and issues
This is a Volunteer Role and reports to Chair of Rugby Development
Current DBS essential
A high understanding of the RFU performance pathway for Players and Coaches
Have a passion for the game of rugby and grass roots sports development so to motivate, enthuse and inspire Coaches to ensure that they all reach their potential.
