YORKSHIRE PLAYER MAKES HER DEBUT FOR ENGLAND WOMEN
Hull born Kaya Acton, made her capped debut for England Women’s U21s last Saturday against Ireland in this years 4 Nations competition
The 20 year old started her rugby in Yorkshire, playing for U13s at Hull Ionians, and has had an incredible journey through County to be one of the first intake at 15 of the RFU Centre of Excellence. A programme which lasted three years, setting her up to represent England at 18 group
Education took her to Bishop Burton College, where she was the first XV captain, and now studies at Loughborough University.
Currently, Kaya is playing for Loughborough Lightening in the PWR, and plays anywhere in the scrums back five.
The game on Saturday, was played at Coventry in front of nearly 2000, Kaya played the full 80 mins and scored a well taken try, making her debut and day to remember.
